MacDougall Family Pancake Breakfast Benefit

In late spring 2010, Chris was playing a tennis tournament in Spartanburg, SC and then the following week at the Atlanta Senior Invitational, when he started to notice he was feeling very fatigued and lethargic. This was not normal for him as he is the “picture of health” standing 6’0″ tall and 210 lbs of solid muscle! Luckily, Chris decided to go see his doctor for what he thought would be a “routine” checkup, but was shocked a few days later when he was told he had a rare and aggressive form of Leukemia called AML!!! He was immediately admitted to the hospital where he had 7 tough months of intense chemotherapy. He was declared to be in remission in November 2010. Chris recently learned that his Leukemia is relapsing and needs a bone marrow transplant by late summer. Chris lives in Woodlake with his wife Cherlyn and two beautiful little girls, Abby & Karsen, who are proud of their dad on and off of the tennis court!
