I grew up in Athens. Well, not really. I am from Monroe, which is only about 20-25 minutes away from the University. What I really mean when I say I grew up in Athens is that I spent just about every Saturday possible cheering on the Dawgs. Every Friday evening, my family would take our RV to Bulldog Park off of Hancock Industrial Way. The other kids and I would play all sorts of games and eat dinner together. On Saturday morning, we would wake up and, depending on the time the game started, start tailgating. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, we would have all our fellow Georgia Bulldog fans over for a good time before the game. By the time the game came around, I more than likely had my foam paw or pom poms. By elementary age, I had already decided that I was going to go attend the University of Georgia. I barely had any clue what college was, nonetheless what a major was. Regardless, my young, UGA fanatic heart was set on it. The memories that were made with family and friends are unforgettable, and now I get to make more as a student.
