About me:
Born and raised in Topeka, KS but currently live in Lawrence. I grew up loving the Kansas Jayhawks and watching a lot of college sports, especially football and basketball, specifically #kubball and #kufball.
I work with the Office of Admissions at KU as an Associate Director of Admissions, overseeing our Community Engagement Initiatives. My first full-time staff position at KU was an Admissions Representative, so it is great to be back in the office where I began my career.
Speaking of higher education, I am currently in the Higher Education Ed.D program and have passed all comprehensive exams to be ABD. I am working on my dissertation and hope to be finished by summer 2025.
Interests:
I am a movie buff. I love watching movies and can pretty much have a conversation in movie quotes. I also love to listen to music! I used to be a DJ, so I listen to all kinds of music.
I love superheroes. I'm a huge Marvel and DC fan, so if you ever want to talk about the MCU, comics, etc, I would love to chat about it!
Finally, I love being a father! I have an amazing partner and together we've been blessed with two amazing, spunky daughters so they keep me very busy outside of work life.
