Imagination is the first step towards creating something new. From scribbles on serviettes to five-dollar bills, I love translating my imagination into a 2D sketch and share it instantly with my friends and colleagues. A good idea to me is a process of collective efforts and network of different knowledge-waves. Chance favours the sharing minds. Entrepreneur and author Steven Johnson has rightly pointed out in his TED talk, the need for networking in creating “good ideas” – “The key thing is to allow hunches to connect with other people's hunches. That's what often happens. You have half of an idea and someone else has the other half, and if you're in the right environment, they turn into something larger than the sum of their parts.” Currently I am the CSO of Lifeonics Inc, a biotech start-up based in Auckland. Lifeonics stands at the convergence of Life Sciences and Electronics and is the result of an array of extremely talented people I met at the University. In the past, i have co-founded petsnearby.com and currently working on a new venture, xprsify.com.
