Mackenzie Ferraro

Defining herself as an artisit, Mackenzie has the passion and drive to bring the joy of dance not only to herself but to those around her. Currently recieving her BA in dance with a minor in psychology at Dean College, Mackenzie has had many opportunites in these four short years of college. Studying and training in Ballet, Modern (Graham and Horton), Tap, Jazz and Contemporary, her repertoire of technique has grown. She has worked and trained with artists such as Jill Silverman, Gregory King, Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Donlin Foreman, Laura Young and Todd Shanks. Mackenzie has also had the oppurtunity to spend the summer training with the Alvin Ailey Summer Intensive where her skills improved.
Mackenzie completed an independent study with Joan Phelps Palladino researching and defining Dance Therapy. As one her passions Mackenzie hopes to intergrate Dance Therapy and dance technique in a studio setting exploring the body and mind of all dancers. First hoping to travel and explore her dance studies, she then hopes to go to Graduate School to recieve an MA in Dance Therapy.
As an artist, Mackenzie continues to strive for success and growth in her true passion that is dance.
