Mackenzie Frerich

My name is Mackenzie. The ocean is my absolute favorite place. The sun, sand, and blue water are always so inviting. I fell in love with the ocean when I first went to it in Brazil. My father’s job moved my family from Texas to Brazil when I was in the first grade. We lived there for about three years. The beach was the place to be every weekend. After Brazil, we were transferred to a small town in Idaho. It was completely different there. I remember it snowing one time in July. Once again, we moved two years later. This time, my dad’s job took us South to Augusta, Georgia. It was in Augusta that I met my best friends, Sierra and Saige. The three of us have been inseparable ever since. They have helped me through many difficult and exciting times. Throughout high school, I was involved in lacrosse, Beta Club, Spanish Club, yearbook staff, and prom committee. During my senior year of high school, I was employed at Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins. I had so much fun working there and became really close to my co-workers. I have come to love my home in Augusta and all my friends living there.
