Who is MackTheTailor?

MackTheTailor, professionally known as Detective. Surfaced as a designer and public speaker in the year 2021 after enduring a traumatic injury May 11th, 2018. This motor vehicle accident led her to be diagnosed six months later with the worse nerve disease ever discovered by medical experts known as CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome)

This unprecedented nerve disease spreads throughout the body causing random spells of immobility to MackTheTailor's legs and left arm.To combat the disease that has no cure and is debilitating, MackTheTailor has two wires in her back that that stop midway through her back and at the base of her skull. Charging her body every three days and a large list of daily medication, MackTheTailor is in the fight of her life, for her life.

THE CURE FOR MACKTHETAILOR:

MackTheTailor immediately discovered the hobby of sewing and fashion designing as a cure, sort of a medical distraction. Despite the intense severe amount of pain she experiences daily, MackTheTailor pushes through in a resilient manner, turning tragedy into triumph.

HOW AND WHAT IS BEHINDTHESEAMSX:

In January 2021, MackTheTailor was leaving a doctors appointment when a young man nicknamed "Bandz" asked to wash her windshield. Without spare change, she wanted to do something that would change his life. MackTheTailor, hints the word tailor, has an infatuation with designing tailored suits. MackThetailor met the young man on the same corner the following day and obtained his measurements.

Weeks later "Bandz" was gifted a 120 grade wool suit customized and designed by MackTheTailor. July 2021, MackTheTailor launched the first BehindTheSeamsX class in Baltimore, Maryland. Going from one young man, to eleven African American male students. Through the weeks of study, the students have the opportunity to upgrade themselves internally before upgrading the exterior. Allowing MTT to not only tailor the closets of her students, but their mindsets and futures as well.
