For more than 25 years now I have been dealing with Type 1 Diabetes. That's why I truly understand the struggle when it comes to food selections. You want healthy food that tastes good too- and with mAd CoW BaKEs that is exactly what you get. I source all of my ingredients locally in order to make haute cuisine available to everyone, everyday. A passionate chef, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and finding ways to add a touch of creativity to the classics as well. Cooking for my family is my absolute favourite pastime, and I have become skilled at coming up with nutritious meals that get kids excited to eat!

In addition to keeping busy with all things kitchen related, I also enjoy staying fit. I share my home with a Geologist husband, Thing 1 and Thing 2 (my beautiful kids), three adopted cats and a Rottie. One of my favourite TV shows of all time is Friends, and of the six main characters I am most similar to Monica- the high - energy, high - intensity perfectionist. My OFF switch broke a long time ago and my husband often tells me that I work too hard. When I set my mind to something, however, I cannot slow down until I achieve it.

Four years ago, my family and I relocated from South Africa to Brisbane, Australia. We have fallen in love with the people of Oz as well as this beautiful county. Although our hearts will forever remain Springbokke, we have now decided that sunny Australia will be home.
