I am an artist from New Zealand now based in Gothenburg, Sweden. I work part time as Senior Lecturer in Fine Art at HDK-Valand Academy of Art & Design, University of Gothenburg. I came to Sweden in 2016, from Wellington, New Zealand, where I was a founding staff member of Whiti o Rehua/The School of Art at Massey University.

My artistic practice seeks viable ways of making artworks that respond to unique place-determined content. Each project starts from scratch, encounters different problems and produces different results. It's best defined as 'post-conceptual' practice.

To give some examples, I've worked with concrete, water, boats, meteorites, trees, lamps, apples, monuments, weather forecasts, newspapers, rare earth magnets, musicians, designers, black metal artists, monuments, amateur radio operators, book makers, sign writers, film makers and aviators.

I completed my PhD at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia in 2021.
