Madaline Alspaugh-Young

My name is Madaline Alspaugh-Young, but I informally go my Maddie.

I recently graduated from Portland High School as an individual in the Class of 2014, and I am now currently attending Western Michigan University, as well as the WMU College of Aviation. As a college student, I am in the pursuit of two degrees which are Aviation Flight Science and Aviation Management and Operations. With my degrees, my future goal is to become a commercial international pilot. I also intend to have a job concerning the business side of aviation as well.Owning and operatiing my own airport would be a dream.

The Aviation industry has always been my greatest interest and passion. Ever since I can remember, I've wanted to be a pilot. To me, flying is the most fascinating thing there is. The ability that planes have to soar through the air truly amazes me.

Outside of aviation, a few interesting things about me are that I love to have a fun and exciting time. Dancing is one of my favorite things to do. I also love to play tennis, relax and curl up with a good book, or spend quality time with my firends and family. I am undeniablly a cat lover, however, I love all animals.

I am a doer, but I am also a dreamer. My wildest dream is to fly myself to Thailand so that i can swim with elephants.
