Madeline Bachner
Madeline is an environmental educator and lover of nature and adventure, large and small. She has been a professional educator since 1999 in the field and classroom. From leading backcountry trips in Maine and guiding hiking trips in Guatemala to interpreting in National Parks to teaching with live animals in the classroom and facilitating group community action in Boulder, Colorado; She has a wide experience educating about the environment.
Madeline has paddled canoes since she could walk (maybe before), starting in Indiana then Maine. She added packrafting and some rowing experience to her water sports recently in Jackson Hole and Colorado. She also enjoys hiking and backpacking, telemark skiing, some snowboarding and mountain biking. Madeline's experiences in nature continue to fuel her passion for teaching about it and living responsibly.
