By nature and by experience and training, I'm a communicator. I love to find the story in things.

Meant to Be an Ambassador; Trained and practiced using both sides of my brain. Experienced as an Communicator, Story Teller, Designer and Trainer.

When I was very young watching old black and white re-runs my father told me that the little girl with all the smiles, Shirley Temple, grew up to be a diplomat. Pretty cool. Guess that's where I first got my inspiration. I've found my own way to use my skills, experiences and personality to benefit others.

The Zen of Communicating

My work in Marketing, Branding, Social Media, Training and Design has brought me to a place I think of as "The Zen of Communicating". It's a lot like the Zen of Motorcycle Maintenance - have you ever read that old classic novel?

Both "Zen-attutudes" require patience and attention to detail.

Listening as an Art

I have a great appreciation for the art of listening. It's through listening that I can uncover the goals of the person communicating and the person in the role of listener.

Making the Leap

At that point I look for the common connections. Listening for how their needs connect, I go from listener to my ultimate role: 'ambassador.' I speak up in a way that lets the 'needs and wants' connect. This lets everyone walks away with a win.

Love What I Do?

Sure I do. Who doesn't love ending the day with a win / win situation?

Another saying I have? "You can never have too many friends - know too many people..."

Come connect with me online - we can look at the curious world together!

Another bit of my philosophy: " Put 2 and 2 together and it can equal -Everything."

That's based on my desire to look at the details and the big picture - while using the left and right sides of my brain. Thinking, listening, looking at the world like this helps me get a sense of the whole, the everything.

I like this word:

"Gestalt." (from Merriam-Webster.com. Merriam-Webster, n.d. Web. 1 Feb. 2015.) <http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/gestalt>.
