Born in Ottawa, raised in Halifax, and now residing in Angus, Ontario, Madeline has had a diverse upbringing. She has one older sister who currently lives in New Brunswick, and when not in school, she lives with her parents. When not in school, Madeline enjoys riding her horse Cozy, playing with her dogs Ducky and Mickey, and cuddling with her cats Theo, Punkin, and Norie. In the summer Madeline and Cozy compete in horse competitions in Essa and enjoy the challenge it presents them. During her down time, she enjoys reading and watching movies. Madeline loves studying the ancient societies of Greece and Rome. She is fascinated by the ancient world and how we can still see the remains of their society in ours today. Madeline also loves spending her time learning new languages and continuing to better her French everyday.

Madeline spends her summers working as a camp counsellor at Camp Tiffin in Essa. She adores working with the children with ages ranging from four to twelve, all with various strengths and needs. Madeline loves getting to plan fun activities for the kids, mainly pertaining to the outdoors and nature as the camp is located on a nature conservation area. It is through this job that she solidified her love of working with children and teaching.

Throughout high school, Madeline had many possible career paths in mind. It was not until she had two wonderful teachers who made a difference in her life that she knew that she wanted to be that person for someone else. Since then, she has been determined to get her teaching licence and help students in the way that her teachers helped her.
