Madeline Novak

Hi, my name is Madeline. I’m a student at the University of Georgia from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I am a fan of food, dogs, and most importantly, traveling. In the summer of 2018, I flew to California for a week and then Maui for another week with my mom and aunt for my senior trip. During those two weeks, I did many exciting things such as hike up to the Hollywood sign, fly in an airplane, and layout on the beach. I've also traveled to several European countries: Slovakia, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Hungary, and Czech Republic. My dad was born in Kosice, Slovakia, so when I was thirteen, we took a two week trip to Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, and Hungary. It was a really good bonding experience between me and my dad, and I learned so much about that side of my family. When I was sixteen, I traveled to Italy, Spain, and France for ten days with my mom, aunt, and grandmother. It was one of the best trips of a lifetime, and I could never be thankful enough to have had that experience. These trips have made me open myself up to the world around me and discover what I want to do with my life. One day, I hope to travel to every continent and learn about all the different cultures around the world.
