Why I am excited to attend the OWYP Summer Training Conference:

More than anything, I'm excited to meet my PMF counterparts. They come from all over the world, so they bring with them ten different perspectives on classroom management, peer facilitation, and life as a whole. With the opportunity to bond as we learn about different ways to grow our team, advise our project ambassadors, and connect with the other hubs, I believe STC will be the perfect way for us to get to know each other. Additionally, the OWYP network is a unique group connected by a shared passion, so there is already common ground to build on at the upcoming STC.

As a proud Third Culture Kid, I love exploring, trying new things, and generally enjoying life to the fullest. I take great pride in making new friendships and engaging in mutual education between cultures. While I have always loved to learn about all cultures, I have special affinities for the Muslim world, South Asia, South America, and France. While I study International Relations at Georgetown University, I am open for any career that involves traveling and an opportunity to foster cross-cultural dialogue.
