After one of my close friends announced she was expecting I asked 'What would you like for the baby?' to which she replied 'something lovely handmade by you'.

A mummy friend just so adored the simple, minimalist design of the booties I'd knitted she suggested I start sharing my hand made creations and so 'Made with love by..'.was born!

My aim is simple - to make hand knitted gifts that will be cherished by both the wearer and their parents for years to come.

Cute origami booties are flavour of the moment, but 2014 will see some other hand knitted gems coming your way.

I want to keep the tradition of hand knitting alive. Both my grandmother and mum were excellent knitters and its a skill that I've passed onto my eldest daughter. Having something handmade is so special in this day of mass production so why not have something made with love by...ME!
