Indian Jute Bags believes in sourcing handmade jute bags and accessories from West Bengal, a corner of the world where the rich, alluvial soil of the Gangetic Delta has produced the most abundant jute crops. The rural Bengal artisans are experts in weaving intricate patterns in jute by hand: a skill they have been practicing for many decades and many generations. However, many find it impossible to market their creation to far reaches of the world due to lack of connectivity with the right buyers. They struggle to sell their trade and make a decent livelihood.
