Madina Toure

Political science and French major interested in career in journalism, particularly in writing and reporting but also developing photography and multimedia skills. Strong interest in French colonial history and Francophone countries in Africa, such as Guinea and the Comoros islands, but generally interested in local, national, and international issues. I am hoping to work in the United States but also travel and cover foreign issues.

Currently pursuing my master's degree in Magazine, Newspaper and Online Journalism at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Pursuing the newspaper track but open to all forms of media. Will be taking a political reporting course and a visual and multimedia journalism course during the spring 2013 semester with the hopes of developing more specialized skills.
