Madison R Jones is a graduate of Ball State University where obtained his bachelors degree in creative writing with a minor in psychology. His career interests lay heavily in the world of social media promotion as well as creating a betterment in needy communities through media correspondence. He has worked as a promotional team member for the Ball State In-Print Festival of First books, the Assistant Director of Ball State's 2013 performance of "The Vagina Monologues" and is currently employed as a Student Usher/Runner for Emens Auditorium. His volunteer efforts include the Creative Writing in the Community program at BSU, Kelsey Timmerman’s League of Extraordinary Writers and he worked as a grief facilitator at Brookes Place in Indianapolis, IN from 2011-2012.
Anna Deavere Smith said it best when she said that idea of the "august author" isn't something that works anymore with there being so many different races, perspectives and creeds in the world. It takes a community to represent and make the life and ideas of another understandable.
