Madison Bess

I graduated from Ithaca College in 2018 with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Sports Studies.

I currently work at DraftKings as a Senior Social Marketing Associate.

Prior to DraftKings, I worked at Caesars Sportsbook as a Social Media Specialist. Some of my roles included managing and creating content for all Caesars Sportsbook social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook), live tweeting during games and creating graphics, templates and memes in Adobe Photoshop for social media.

I’ve also had the opportunity to work at Tipico Sportsbook, CBS Sports HQ and Jersey Sports Zone right out of college, where I contributed greatly to their growth on social media (Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook).

I had incredible internship opportunities during my time at Ithaca. I spent February of 2018 in Stamford, Connecticut with NBC Sports for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics as a Scripts PA intern for Curling.

During the summer of 2017, I interned with the United States Golf Association in the broadcasting department, in which I had the opportunity to travel to the 117th U.S. Open at Erin Hills in Wisconsin as well as the 2017 U.S. Women's Open.

In the summer of 2016, I had the opportunity to intern for the NHL in the production department, as I helped produce the Stanley Cup Final DVD and Centennial Project.
