Madison is also an avid member of the Canadian Forces. She performed with The Band of the Ceremonial Guard in Ottawa, Ontario for two seasons, partaking in the daily Changing of the Guard ceremony on Parliament Hill. With the band, she has performed at the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo (2011), and for guests Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Governor General David Johnston, and now-retired Chief of Defence Staff General Walter Natynczyk.

Madison has also spent time in Edmonton with the Royal Canadian Artillery Band, performing with the Wind Ensemble and ten-piece ensemble. With them she performed at a variety of civilian and military venues, as well as for distinguished guests, including current Chief of Defence Staff General Thomas Lawson.

Madison has also held notable positions in the Toronto Youth Symphonic Winds, the Mississauga Youth Orchestra, and the London Community Orchestra. She has studied with Anne Thompson and Patricia Dydnansky, respectively, and has performed for or had lessons with William Bennett, Peter Lloyd, Leslie Newman, Lorna McGhee, Angeleita Floyd, Camille Watts, Elizabeth Koch, and Kathleen Rudolph. She has accompanied various choirs, including The Ritz in Mississauga, and St. Cecilia Choir and the New St. James Presbyterian Church choir in London. She enjoys teaching flute and piano, competing, and performing as a freelance musician. Madison has recently started performing as a volunteer at a home for Alzheimer's patients, as well as busking at her local farmers' market.
