Maduabuchi Daniel Uluocha is a sustainable food systems researcher with 7+ years of experience in plant-based foods, alternative proteins, pesticide residue analysis, functional foods, and underutilised oils. He earned a Distinction in MSc Food and Nutrition Sciences at Sheffield Hallam University, where he developed sustainable products, including a food waste–based plant burger and a vegan pasta bake.

As the founder of the NexEdge Research Scheme and an associate member of IFST (UK), Daniel is dedicated to mentoring emerging researchers and advancing evidence-based innovations that promote food safety, quality, and sustainability.
