Kosisochukwu Benjamin Madukwe has got his sights set on bringing technological innovations to the fashion industry. Benshada Place was borne out of this unique passion of his. In addition to being a strong business development professional, Kosi is also a graduate of Marine engineering from Regional Maritime University. He has gained further experience and undergone tests to become an IRATA certified rope access level 1 Technician, and ASME certified Non-destructive Testing Level 2 Maintenance Officer.
Kosi is a 2019 alumnus of Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship 12 weeks Business School training.
In 2018, he was certified by South East Entrepreneurship Development Council, SEEDC, and Development Strategic Centre, DSC, after undergoing a 12-week Central Bank of Nigeria training on Entrepreneurship and Business Growth.
That same year, he was also a part of a 12-week Accelerator (Enterprise) Program, by Microsoft Youth Spark Initiative, Maize Matrix and the Future Project. He gained an online certification after being a part of YCombinator Silicon Valley Start-up School, NY, 10 weeks’ start-up training. He also bagged an Innovation and Idea Development Certification from GPE Business School, Enugu.
Prior to these certifications, in 2017, he was fully trained and certified by Venture Capitalist 4 Africa (VC4A) Academy on Business Start-up, Funding, Growth and Legality.
Kosi holds further certifications from YALI on ‘Team Building and Management’, ‘People Leadership Dynamics’, and ‘Situation and Crises Management’.
When he is not meeting with fashion house owners, attending business summits, or attending personal development classes, Kosi devotes his time to volunteering with organizations burdened with youth development.
He is further skilled in digital marketing, Microsoft packages, human management, and qualifies as a business and career coach.
He has substantial working experience and strengths in quality control and assurance, office practice, marketing, product/project management and start-up consultancy. This experience enabled him to build competence in management, leadership and administrative skills.
