An idea is formed into a design, a two dimensional creation, which then becomes a three-dimensional product. Fashion design is to create something that can be made. I was once asked what inspires me most as a creator - People- they are what stimulate my innermost creative thoughts, everything they have achieved from the earliest times, from creating music, art, empires, culture, and of course clothing. Every item of clothing started life as an idea; this coming to life of an idea should have a positive impact, reflecting the wearer’s personality to an audience. We also know fashion is ever changing, but in the future there can also be changes in the societal impact of the fashion industry, that can better the lives of many people, and I want to help make that change and be part of that future.
