Mae Solutions

MAE Solutions was established in Bahrain as a resource for charitable organisations, voluntary projects and educational training. MAE is a social conscious enterprise which is primarily concerned with social objectives to benefit the Kingdom of Bahrain. We bring awareness to charities/voluntary organisations, apply traditional models for sustainability and contribute to a sense of local identity.

We currently manage Afkarech – a female network and think tank that provides women with social solutions, brain storm sessions, educational workshops, professional and personal development opportunities. Afkarech is the first of its kind of Bahrain. We select specific projects and organisations we would like to work with.

We develop simple comprehensible ideas which people can understand and use for the betterment and development of our society. Our aim is to identify and create efficient change makers or role models, who will in turn motivate the masses to develop their own ideas, solutions and strategies to resolve these social issues. In short - we act as mediators who thrive on being able to bring about positive changes in the society.

A socially conscious enterprise is an organisation that works with an initiative to develop pioneering ideas and solutions for the existing social problems and issues faced by the society. We try to resolve these problems by changing the system of working and mind set of people, by spreading awareness about how to tackle these problems and issues; and developing educational and social resources to empower the community. Why be a social conscious enterprise? Being involved in this sector has a completely different motivation. We wanted to be involved in making a real and lasting impact on the community. This is more rewarding than any other business success.
