I am an educational leader with TK–8 Dual Spanish Immersion experience across 90/10 and 50/50 program models, deeply committed to the pillars of Dual Immersion: bilingualism and biliteracy, high academic achievement, and sociocultural competence. My career includes roles as a classroom teacher, instructional administrator, MTSS TOSA, vice principal, and most recently Site Principal at Nestor Language Academy, where I am in my fifth year leading a TK–8 90/10 Dual Immersion program.

As a data‑driven instructional leader, I use multiple measures of student performance to guide curriculum, strengthen language development programs, and ensure equitable outcomes for multilingual learners. Under my leadership, Nestor improved ELA and Math CAASPP outcomes by 9 points in the 2024–25 school year, earned State Gold Recognition for Tier 1 and Tier 2 PBIS implementation, and was recognized by the San Diego Dual Language Conference for our intentional pathway toward biliteracy.

I prioritize building positive, welcoming, and inclusive school cultures through proactive, restorative, and relationship‑centered practices, and I am passionate about supporting educators through professional learning, coaching, and collaborative systems aligned to state frameworks and district goals. I bring a strong understanding of instructional coherence, MTSS, language development programming, and school–district collaboration to leadership roles focused on improving teaching, learning, and student achievement.
