Heyyy, I’m Magdalina (if that's too long call me Maggie). I’m a student living in Queens, New York. My favorite color is periwinkle and pink. I am a preacher's girl so with that said I hate staying home so I tend to go out alot. I have three jobs, am a teacher assistant for infants in the daycare in WCC. When am not there I am a CNA for seniors, also a substitute dance teacher for Gateway for children after school. I volunteer to play basketball with my old high school now & then um, the only time I even turn on my t.v is the watch the knicks play. I also volunteer at St. John hospital as a candy stripper. I love fashion, love reading. My niece is the world to me I'll do anything for that little girl for real. Music is everything to me.

My major in WCC is early childhood education. I love kids I swear they are the cutest.

My favorite hobby is dancing I love it. I have been dancing since I was five. The type of dances I am good at are hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary modern. I like to travel ( ... well if someone pays for me)

My definition for communication means to me is understanding the person your listening and being engaged with the conversations. Also, body language. And communication can't only be a face to face thing we communicate everywhere by texting to people and the way we text. It's important that you choose the proper instrument for communicating a message. For explain, punctuating a question correctly also the tone you set so that the receiver can read it accurately.

The only time I spoke in public was when I was singing the Star Spangled Banner for my high school home game (Never again after that) that was two years ago.

MY fears for public speaking is not that am scared it depends on who's there if I know people and a huge group of people I will definitely act like am talking to them mostly. But, if its people I don't know I will suddenly forget what I was saying, forget words, ahh say "umm..." a lot in between sentences. Not look at people in the eyes, kinda look at the wall or something. But, hopefully, this class will teach me how to get out of the fear of public speaking and speak better in the future with a crowd of people I don't know.
