Magdalena Slowinska

London, United Kingdom

I'm passionate about social innovation, education, inclusion, technology, peer2peer and social entrepreneurship. I'm a founder of the UK’s first public innovation community inclusion project - Bepartofit.org.uk. It is an award winning project co-created by potential and existing social entrepreneurs and people with visual and hearing impairments. I collaborate with NGOs, charities, educational institutions and businesses helping with innovation, project management, partnerships, communication, supervision, funding applications, community building, research, service and UX design and educational and professional use of technology, social media and play. I’m also a committee member of the Irish Symposium of Game-Based Learning and an active supporter of children's rights. I'm using my skills and knowledge to empower people by finding ways and creating opportunities for everyone, including myself, to do meaningful things in life. My background is in Occupational Therapy and Psychology and I believe in public innovation as a solution for fighting poverty and building local and global community cohesion.
