Welcome! Just by visiting my page you've already started or perhaps are continuing your journey into yoga. As a teacher, I am excited to help you learn this ancient practice and feel the benefits in your body and soul.
A little about me... I graduated from Appalachian State University in 2011. After graduation I began a yoga practice with the Kunga Yoga Lifestyle and Teacher Training program in Wilmington, NC under the guidance of Kristin Cooper-Gulak, Noelle Cavenough, and Keegan White at the Wilmington Yoga Center. I received my own certification soon after and have enjoyed teaching others ever since. I have experience teaching both in studios and at home classes.
I took my first yoga class in 2009 and realized yoga was not as easy for me as everyone else made it look but I enjoyed the peaceful energy of the class so I kept going and soon relaxed into my own practice.
My boyfriend and I happily expect our first child in February of 2014 and this change has brought a renewed appreciation to the benefits of the yoga lifestyle.
I especially enjoy teaching small, intimate groups which allows me to get to know each individual's needs and create a level of comfort otherwise hard to achieve in a larger studio setting.
Your home can you be your own studio. Kind of like watching a yoga DVD, with a little floor space I will be there with you in the comfort of your own home, and I will also be able to offer adjustments, assists, and answer any questions you may have along the way.
