Maggie Owen

Maggie Owen has been living in Montreal, QC for the past 7 years. Born in Maine, raised in Germany and Japan, she has had the privilege of performing at Carnegie Hall, The Centaur Theatre, The Segal Center, Theater at Monmouth, The Rochester Opera House, in the Okinawa, Japan Honor Choir and at the Rosenball in Berlin, Germany. Some of her past shows include: The Crucible (Abigail Williams), Jekyll & Hyde (Emma Carew, Lucy Harris), Kiss Me Kate (Lois/Bianca), Guys & Dolls (Sarah Brown), The Boys of Syracuse (Chief Courtesan), Beauty and the Beast (Mme Grandbouche aka The Wardrobe), The Drowsy Chaperone (Beatrice Stockwell/Drowsy), Lies My Father Told Me (Char Lady/Ensemble) and The Wild Party (LaChiusa - Queenie). Maggie can be seen next as the character Dorothy Brock, in the hit musical 42nd Street in March 2012 in Vaudreuil, QC.

Some of her screen credits include Please Stand By, Enemy Combatant and Astro 12. Maggie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and German Literature at the University of New Hampshire. She completed her master's degree in Creative Arts Therapies at Concordia University.

Maggie Owen is an apprentice with the Actors Equity Association.
