Maggie Dean

Maggie Dean is a freshmanGeneral Business Major, hoping to go into Energy Commerce, at the Rawls College of Business Administration at Texas Tech University. She is set to graduate inMay 2018.

Maggie is from Cypress, Texas a suburb of Houston, so she is used to the hustle and bustle of the city. She comes from a small family, but both Maggie’s father and sister are very active in the oil industry. She is an ambitious and hardworking individual and this shows through her involvement with several organizations all over the TexasTech campus. Maggie is the social chair of what has been, for ten consecutive years, voted the best religious organization on Tech campus. She is also a member of the Texas Tech Women’s Chorale, the Diocesan Youth Retreat Team, andRaider Awakening. She was selected to work with the Center for Campus Life onRed Raider Orientation Crew for the summer of 2015 and will be welcoming new students to the Tech campus. During the fall of 2015 she will work as a mentor for the Raider Ready Freshman Seminar and will assist new students during their transition into college. Her career goals consist of working for a smaller oil and gas company as a Petroleum LandManager. She is very passionate about her chosen career path and is working hard to achieve her goals.
