Maggie Leiby

Bucks County artist, Maggie Leiby is an award winning oil painter, dividing her time between plein air painting and studio work. “The beauty of the landscape has always stirred my soul.” In my paintings I attempt to capture the Spiritual force emanating from the land.”

Maggie Leiby has a BA in Studio Art from Kennesaw State University in Georgia, graduating Magna cum Laude in 1994. She has studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Studio Incaminati, Barnstone Studio, The Prosopon School of Iconography, and the Woodmere Museum School.

Leiby is a member of Oil Painters of America, the Philadelphia Sketch Club, The New Hope Art League, Doylestown Art League, Artsbridge, The Rockport Art Association, and French Creek Art Colony Plein air painters.

The artist’s paintings are in collections throughout the United States and Europe. Maggie teaches oil painting classes through the Community Conservatory in Doylestown, The Valley Lake Gallery in Horsham, and privately at her home studio. Gallery representation is through Patricia Hutton Galleries in Doylestown, The Upstairs Gallery in Lahaska, Pa. and The Valley Lake Gallery in Horsham, Pa.
