Maggie Nickl

Hi there!

My name is Maggie, and I'm a senior studying music therapy here at KU. I'm originally from Arlington Heights, IL, a suburb of Chicago, so if you ever want to talk about Chicago hockey, I'm your girl!

In addition to being a Peer Advisor, I've been a member of the Marching Jayhawks since 2013 where I marched in the mellophone section, even though I'm an oboist in concert ensembles. The Marching Jayhawks is also where I met my fiance, a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force!

In my free time, I love searching for the best restaurants around Lawrence, and hanging out with my coonhound puppy, Wicket, named after the ewok in Star Wars.
