Hi, I’m Maggie! I’m a mother, teacher, and artist. I enjoy reading, cooking, and painting. I’m also love sports and being outdoors.
My teaching philosophy in six words:
respect, relationships, relevance, voice, growth, joy
I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and student-centered classroom community.
Learning in my classroom is meaningful, hands-on, authentic, and fun.
I differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners.
I value outdoor and experiential education to extend learning beyond the traditional classroom.
Student voice is central and I co-create expectations, offer choice, and celebrate student work.
I actively contribute to the wider school community and believe in learning through collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
