Magic Mushrooms and Alcohol
Alcohol and magic mushrooms are two drugs that can have similar effects. Although they have similar effects, alcohol increases the potential negative side effects of mushrooms. Generally, alcohol and magic mushrooms are used by young adults for pleasure. While both substances increase the feeling of intoxication, alcohol can lead to psychological distress and increased chances of suicide. Alcohol and magic mushrooms also affect serotonin levels, which could result in bad trips or even depression. According to the 2004 national drug survey, 5% of Australians aged 14 or older used hallucinogens. It was between the ages of 20 to 29 that they were most common.
Some people combine alcohol and magic mushrooms without realizing the consequences. Alcohol can increase the effect of psychedelics. People who have a history of alcoholism should avoid mixing these two drugs. However, alcohol and magic mushrooms have distinct effects on the brain and should not be mixed with other substances. It is best to consult an expert before using these two drugs together. As a result, both drugs are highly dangerous and you should avoid combining them unless you are familiar with their side effects.
