Maha Elmadhoun
Student, Teacher, and Mother in London, Ontario, Canada
Learning and teaching foreign languages has always been my passion. My family immigrated to Montreal, Quebec where I learned French as a second language at a very young age. Having learned and developed fluency in French, English, Spanish and Arabic, I am able to draw upon my own personal experience as a foreign language learner as I teach my students to effectively communicate in a second language.
I have also been very fortunate to travel extensively abroad and live in French-speaking areas which allow me to help students gain an appreciation for another language and culture.
My teaching experiences have allowed me to work with students from diverse backgrounds and help them see that understanding other languages leads people to the understanding of other perceptions.
I am currently a graduate student, teacher, and mother living in London, Ontario, Canada. And this site was created as part of my MPED requirements at The University of Western Ontario. I am a certified Teacher in both the United States and Canada. My interests range from movies to shopping, fashion, and music.
