Maha Fayyad
Incubation Officer in Doha, Qatar
Maha graduated from Qatar University with a BSc in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing and Finance.
While in university she joined AIESEC as a member and progressed to become a Country President of AIESEC in Qatar, she has led the organization and developed national strategies, programs, and project revolving around leadership, sustainability, youth development, and entrepreneurship.
In 2011 Maha joined the founding team of the first technology Incubator in Qatar, established by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR). She led the community outreach and promotion initiatives to attract and incubate successful entrepreneurs; through developing projects, entrepreneurial competitions, building and maintaining a solid network of relevant stakeholders. Soon after she became the acting Manager for the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Section, she managed a team that organized large-scale national entrepreneurship competitions, managed admission for the incubator, and lead strategies to develop technology entrepreneurship in the country.
Maha spent the past year and half managing independent programs as an entrepreneurship and innovation consultant for several organizations, three of which were managing the first National Entrepreneurship Competition in Libya, working with the ictQATAR Digital Incubation Center Board to redesign the center’s core model, identity, and develop new programs, and finally support a passionate team with the development of the first business incubator/hub in Sudan.
Currently, Maha is working for Qatar Business Incubation Center (QBIC) as an Incubation Consultant assigned to Ooredoo's Digital and Beyond Incubator.
