Mahaliah Edwawrds is a educator, violinist and advocate for social justice in music education.

​Mahaliah enjoys a multifaceted portfolio of peripatetic and private music tuition, consultancy and education work, in addition to freelance violin playing. A versatile musician, she has played in a range of venues, performing with a diverse range of artists including Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, George Ezra, Michael Bublé and many more.

Mahaliah is particularly focused on a career as a music education consultant and advocate for music for social change, social justice in music education. She has over 8 years teaching experience and has been a relationship manager, diversity practitioner and ambassador for Black Lives in Music. She is passionate about Music Education and Social Justice and is researching this through doctoral studies in 2025 at the University of Southampton.
