Mahdi Hedhli

Mahdi is a seasoned IT professional w/ a diverse technical background. Through his experience operating on the many levels of IT, throughout a broad range of industries, he has gained a unique perspective & panoptic consideration of the impact & efficacy of IT decisions. By keeping his finger on the pulse of IT, Mahdi is able to provide holistic IT solutions leveraging his industry knowledge for best of breed technology while also considering the latest & greatest in tech. His proven leadership ability, reputation for innovation, successful track record for delivering business focused technology solutions & drive to constantly improve both his own skillset as well his systems performance & reliability, attributed to him quickly rising through the ranks.
Mahdi assigns much of his success to an early start. From the humble beginnings of an inner city public school system, Mahdi gained experience that rivaled many early college graduates. By the time he graduated elementary school he was well versed in desktop tech support. In HS he founded Teen Tech (a credited class that taught the basics of IT support), taught web design to teachers & students, & was selected to present at Universities throughout the US.
His first year at Rutgers, Mahdi designed websites & logos still in use today while also working at the comp lab. This lead to a part time job at a Univ. BioMed R&D facility, where a fulltime position was created for him. Realizing the lack of room to grow, he decided to enter the private sector.
Mahdi joined forces w/ an IT consulting firm in NYC. He attributes much of his knowledge & experience to this fast paced, sink/swim position that exposed him to a wide range of systems & environments. His list of accolades steadily grew and his experiences propelled him into IT security & penetration testing as he was hired to break into corp networks &/or secure compromised systems from rogue admins & unauthorized users. By excelling in the SMB market, he gained consulting & project work w/ multi-national & Fortune 500 companies where he grew his track record for success. He gained a seat at executive tables to provide insight & IT strategy to leadership; instilling in him the entrepreneurial spirit and honing his business acumen.
In 2010 & 2011 Mahdi worked at a private investment firm as Director of IT & then as CISO at a renewable energy start-up.
