Mahendra Chaudhari

Mahendra Chaudhari is a researcher, student activist, environmental activist, and youth leader involved in various social, environmental initiative apart from his research work in the field of Electronics at Gujarat University.

Currently the PhD candidate with Department of Physics, Electronics & Space science, Gujarat University, has done his Masters in Electronics at School of Sciences, Gujarat University, and Bachelors in Electronics from the prestigious St. Xavier’s college in Ahmadabad and High School from the Sarva Vidhyalaya at Kadi, Mehsana. Completed his primary education at Government Primary school in his native place Vithoda (a small Village of Mahesana District).

Proudly being associated with Akhil BharatiyaVidhyarthi Parishad (ABVP) the largest student organisation in the world; holding responsibility of the Joint Secretary of ABVP Ahmedabad city, was elected Member of Senate, Gujarat University for the student constituency of PG Science Faculty for the year of 2010-11. Inspirationally associated & was Coordinator of Students for Development (SFD) an NGO working in area of environment conservation since 1991 with motto of working for Jan-Jangal-Jameen-Janwar-Jal.

Always enjoyed working as Convenor, Rashtriya Urja Jan-Jagriti Abhiyan (RUJJA) Yatra – an all India Energy Awareness Journey program by Vijnana Bharati in association with Ministry of New &Renewable Energy, Government of India, in Ahmedabad city. Also, associated with Think India 2013 Convention in volunteering the grand event at IIM Ahmedabad in March 2013. Now He is Gujarat State Convener of Think India.

Still connected with his roots, enjoy reading Gujarati literature, eating rich Gujarati food, traveler and always striving for excellence with unflinching thirst for knowledge. He finds Swami Vivekananda’s writings influential and hold him as true youth icon of India. Apart from research work in electronics, He reads, debate on issues of Policy and Governance. He looks forward to have greater depth in our public discourse with new-well informed-argumentative youth enters in this domain of public affair. He call upon my peers to think about Bharat and think about Gujarat.
