Mahesh U.Patil in the last 12 years of his professional career has developed core competency in Embedded Systems, Ubiquitous Computing and Mobile Security. He has implemented several projects in these areas. His research interest are specifically in the area of Firmware Development, Board Support Packages, Driver Development, Embedded & Real Time Operating Systems (Porting & Application Development), Wireless Technologies (WPAN & WLAN), Secure Mobile Application Development and Wireless Sensor Networks. He has expertise in firmware and board support package development based on AVR and ARM CPU families and application development on popular kernels like Embedded Linux, RTLinux, Real Time Application Interface (RTAI), MicroC-OS/II and TinyOS. He is also a trainer and has trained more than 900+ Engineering Graduates and 220+ Engineering College Faculty in the area of Embedded Systems and VLSI.
He has several national and international publications and is currently pursuing PhD in the area of Networked Mobile and Embedded Systems. He is Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH7) and member of ACM, IEEE and IETE.
