Canadian Poet of Honor and TED Talk Speaker, Mahlikah is an Artist for Social Change based in Tsi Tkarón:to, Oniatarí:io (Treaty 13).

An award-winning Creative Micropeneur. Widely known as Spoken Word Artist, Activist, Keynote Speaker, Art & Education Trainer, Diversity & Inculsion Trainer, Performance Artist, Futurist Writer, Digital Artist & Mindfulness Coach.

Mahlikah is currently the Director of Programming for Neighbourhood Impact at the Centre of Learning & Development, Founding member of Red Slam, an Indigenous Social Change Movement, an Art Educator for The Art Gallery of Ontario, TDSBCreates Artist Mentor, and Faculty Member for BLM Canada's Wildseed Centre’s Black Arts Fellowship. Recent projects include CBC Arts Poetic License Featured Poet, Audible Canada Power in Poetry: Moods That Move Recording Artist, Defining Brave Short Film Featured Peformer, Emcee on the New Tradition Music Single One Dish, and TED Talk Speaker at TEDxDelthorneWomen in Los Angeles California {Transformation And The Dragonfly Effect}.

Mahlikah Holds a bachelor's degree in Education from York University and a bachelor's degree of Radio and Television Applied Arts from X-University.

She holds Training Certifications in Mindfulness Coaching, Deescalating Potentially Violent Situations, Nishnaabe Cultural Grief Training, and is a recent graduate of the Online School of Whole/Self Libratory Learning.
