I am independent video journalist based in Vancouver, Canada. Once a member of The British Columbia Professional Videographer Associations. Worked as Audio Visual Technician abroad the Celebrity Cruise ship `Millennium ` travelling in South and Central America , East and West Caribbean filming for the on board TV station. Soon after I contracted as Audio Technician in Vancouver for companies like Precision Media, Mediaco and PSAV. I have worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirate as Production Assistant with Span Image providing contents for the digital signage company. In 2009 I shot two documentaries in Somali language on the effect of cutting tree's for charcoal and chewing khat in Somaliland. In 2012 I went to Dadaab which is often described as the largest refugee camp in the world to interview and film Ogadenia who fled persecution in Ethiopia to become refugees in Kenya. I volunteered as camera operator, video editor & producer with the Independent Community Television (ICTV) in Vancouver, covering The Downtown East Side (DTES) one of the oldest neighborhood in Vancouver also known as " Canada's poorest postal code".
