Mr. Palash Mahmud, 24 years old young leader, representing the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Now he is studying his second Post Graduation MPA in Governance and Public Policy (GPP) at BIGM, University of Dhaka. He has been completed his Graduation (BBA) & Post Graduation (MBA major in Management) from National University of Bangladesh.
Mahmud is an enthusiastic social activist. He interested in global issues (SDGs), International Relations, Policymaking & Peace buildings. He is very passionate to work in a globally competitive environment on the challenging assignments in the field of Policymaking & Peacebuilding and to bring about reforms for the welfare of the society. He is sincere, responsible, dedicated, down to earth & trustworthy. He believes in connectivity because connectivity is the productivity. Confidence is his power. Meeting new challenge is his passion, fashion, and obsession. He wants to be a Change Maker. He would like to make the positive change in policy making in his country.
He has represented the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as a scholar youth delegation at UNESCO MGIEP TECH Conference 2017, organized by UNESCO at Vishakhapatnam, India
He has represented the People’s Republic of Bangladesh as a youth delegate at the prestigious 1st South Asian Youth Summit 2017 on the theme ‘Creating a Sustainable Future: Empowering Youth with Sustainable Future’ organized by International Youth Committee at Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He was selected as the core committee member to draft the “Bhubaneswar Youth Declaration 2017’’ which addressed the universal problems faced by the youth in the SAARC nations.
He has also been a part of Youth Delegation Programme to Asian Urban Youth Assembly (AUYA) 2017 Co-organized and support by the UN-Habitat in collaboration with the Melaka State Government, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Malaysia and Melaka Historic City Council where he had an opportunity to interact and share his opinion regarding Bangladeshi urban areas perspective.
He has also been a part of National Youth Delegation at the 12th International Congress On AIDS In Asia And The Pacific (ICAAP12)
He is an avid speaker and trainer and has been a part of various regional & national conferences.
Also working as a Youth Advisor, NYAB, Oxfam in Bangladesh.
