Maiah Shushi-Azencot

Born on 26.1.82 to an American mom and Israeli dad.
Raised in Haifa except for 2 years during 1st-3rd grade, when we moved to the U.S.
Have 1 younger sister, Amy, who is my best friend.
Participated in a youth movement from age 9-20 and did a year of voluntary service before the army, where I served as a teacher soldier.
Fell in love with genetics in the 9th grade and so received a B.Sc. in Biology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, only to learn I can't stand working in a lab.
Started my second year towards a Master's degree in the technologies in education program at the Haifa University.
My true passion is traveling in Israel and abroad. I love the beach, reading books, eating chocolate and exercising!
