Maii AlGhamdi

My name is Maii, not the month May, but pronounced like it. I'm 15 years old, and from Saudi Arabia, Dammam. (specifically Al Baha, Raghdan.)

I'm currently staying in this beautiful heavnily place called California, but only for a very short while, with my mother, and my two sibilings. And for that reason, I planned on doing millions of things in this very short while, things I wouldn't be able to do when I'm back in Saudi Arabia.

I wanted to learn at least two languages (French and Sign language) learn how to cook, sew, be more compassionate, change my attitude, make more friendships, meet new people, learn about cutures and the world's religions, do yoga, learn driving, be self-advocate, go to a small school so I can commuicate better with people, and thankfully, I achieved some of those, even though it was hard for me as an international student to do more work than a native american, but it was worth it. I didn't love every minute of it process, but it makes me smile whenever I think of how hard it was, and the fact I've already done it. I leanred the basics of the things I wanted to learn, went to a small provate school, got to know new people from different countries, made a friendship with a chinese pretty girl named Echo. Echo is older than me in age, but we're both in 10th grade. (Well, since it's summer, 11th.) and we both have same mind age. She has to cutest dogs in the world; Harry, he's fluffy, and blind. Snowy, he's skinny white, and deaf, and finally Charlie, not fully white, but normal. I love them so much and whenever it's time for her to go home, I have to go with her to the car to say hi to her host mother (she lives with a host family and her actual parents are still in China) and to say hi to the dogs. Anyways, I also leanred so many new things in French, and I'm able to write a short story in it.

My favorite things is to fashion design, room decorating, watch DIY and make-up videos, buy flowers, online shopping, keep up with fashion in tumblr (I don't really care about new trends like floral prints and high waisted shorts, but my favorite fashion is Zuhair murad, Elie Saab, Oscar de la renta, Dolce & Gabbana, and stuff like that.)

My role models are prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) in treating people with compassion and being loved for just who he is. My mom for being able to do one thousand things in a mintue and be able to multitask easily.. to be continued..
