After graduating David started his career at Hamburg based company Jimdo, as Marketing Assistant for Premium Customers.

He worked closely with market leading clients such as: LG Electronics, Panasonic, Beiersdorf, OTTO, CASIO Europe, VELUX Deutschland, CEWE Print, Esbit, Oryza, reis-fit, MILRAM, Lornamead and many more.

David acted as link between client and agency, not only developing strategies, concepts and campaigns but also managing projects with an in-house team of developers, art directors, etc.

Working closely with influencers, David started blogging in 2010 and has, since then worked for several digital publications and created own content for known lifestyle brands such as Bacardi and AXE.

In 2011 David and friends started the hashtag #wirsounterwegs (translated: us on the road) which became a mass phenomenon in Germany with over 10,000 relevant photos on social media and prominent clients such as Adidas, Sebago and CAT Shoes.

2014 was a year of change. David decided to leave the successful agency to look for a new project. He did this on the back of his bike as he cycled from Hamburg to Barcelona, carrying everything needed to live and work.

After his return he started freelancing for SME and agencies in need of digital and brand expertise.

In addition to the freelance work David has started the company Cyclique together with old colleague and creative Christian Dauelsberg in 2015 to change the face of social cycling and connect riders to likeminded people via an innovative technology.
