Maimouna is an innovative savvy tech entrepreneur with an expertise in Network Computing. Currently, she is working as Application Business Analyst in Guinea Alumina Corporation and is developing a for-profit business with a focus on integrating advanced technology for adequacy in food storage to improve it security and safety.

The foundation of her leadership journey is rooted in her education as she has earned her Degrees in both Telecommunications and Information Technology with specialism in Network Computing in Malaysia.

After pursuing her undergraduate studies in Malaysia on a full scholarship and entering the workforce; She most recently joined the 2019 Mandela Washington Fellowship cohort. Also known as the 44th President Obama signature Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), which more than 30,000 applicants applied and only 700 were selected. It is through this 6-week leadership experience at Clark Atlanta University, in Georgia that she networked with the best and the brightest talent representing the 54 countries of Africa.

Over the past 11 years, she has made a conscious effort to build intercontinental bridges and represented her country as a female community changemaker in the following ways: in 2008, she was selected to participate in a STEM Camp in Togo organized by The Pathfinder Foundation for Education and Development. She worked and collaborated with 32 girls from seven French-speaking countries and established a group project,” which focused on defining solutions to complex environmental problems in sub-Saharan Africa.

She supported the development and management of databases for companies as Application support in ANGEIE. In addition, built knowledge management systems and conduct E-Training. Previously, She designed an eCommerce platform user interface and wrote web content for Algaetech International – renewable energy company in Malaysia and worked for SOTELGUI – the first telecommunications company in Guinea as IT department intern. Maimouna , is committed to contributing to the sustainable development of her country as a women leader in the tech industry.
