Ma’in has over 15 years of experience in design, construction and management of diverse mixed-use real estate developments. His projects vary from residential master planning to commercial and from industrial to infrastructure. One of his major achievements is the master planning and construction of the waterfront development, Lusail City in Qatar.
Ma’in possesses solid project and construction management skills including change request analysis, conditions of contracts, and negotiation. This has lead into negotiating many contracts with companies through tendering and construction processes which saved his company capital investments and increased profitability. Ma’in is familiar with international conditions of contract such as FIDIC and Canadian codes and ethics and is OSHA certified. He has eloquent communication skills as he worked with many international companies of diversified cultures. His analytical attributes and skills in leadership at Qatari Diar, one of the biggest real estate developers in the Gulf, lead him to establish and head the landscape architecture division for local and international developments and technical advisor for business potential and site selection of developments in S.E. Asia.
Ma’in holds BSc in architecture and a Masters is landscape architecture. Ma’in also has teaching experience, and has coordinated multi-activities among renowned international universities and NGOs. Ma’in is passionate towards environmental issues and the sustainability and green development approach and completed a certificate in ISO 14001.
He is an environmental ambassador with the City of Mississauga and is heavily involved with his community.
