Maire Beer

It all began with a little doodle on a scrap of paper. From an initial sketch on paper to computerised cartoons, my Snaggleteef characters have become the basis of a range of greetings cards. My drawings are an outlet for my creativity and boundless imagination. Every time I draw one of my designs on Photoshop, I feel immensely proud and excited that something completely organic of my own creation is on its way to being shared with other people, especially through social networking. My creativity also manifests itself in other forms. Music is (apart from family and friends) my biggest love. Writing poetry is a close second. A small handful of my poems have been put into books.
